regional couture knitwear designed, knit, & hand sewn by baily rose.
this is baily rose’s first dress design that is made with 100% us grown fiber, and with 100% us spaghetti western labor ;)
reversible
this dress design is available on commission only, 6-8 week turnaround dependent on fiber delivery.
process :
order the dress, discuss with baily rose color and fiber options. baily rose will go searching for the nearest regional fiber available depending on your order location and fiber budget. If you want to naturally dye the yarn / dress before or after, let baily know & we can arrange for this process :)
$500 deposit taken at the time of ordering. This will pay for the starting labor costs, the ordering of the fabric. Around $200 will be due upon delivery that will cover shipping costs & fitting time if needed.
If the fiber is more than $150 depending on where we source it from, there may be extra costs due at the time of delivery. if there is a change to the design (approved by baily), this could also be an extra cost if the time taken to make goes over the allotted labor budget at this price range.
on the flip side, if you want a shorter dress, less expensive fiber, and the time it takes to make is less time than the original design, we can take a $500 deposit and go from there. that may be all we need to cover costs.
If you have a yarn stash that you want to use, and baily is able to knit with it on one of her knitting machines (will probably require a bulkier knit, so the design will look a bit different, but we can make it work), that will knock off the cost of the fiber, and it will reflect this in the total due at time of delivery.
